Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing bakery products:
- Preparing and baking pita bread and other items on Spartan’s menu, according to our recipes and standards.
- Ensuring consistency and quality of every product.
- Handling ingredients:
- Preparing the dough, accurately measuring ingredients, and using Spartan-specific techniques.
- Checking the quality of raw materials before use.
- Maintaining equipment:
- Properly operating kneading, proofing, and baking equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining machines and workspaces.
- Adhering to hygiene and safety standards:
- Keeping a clean and organized work environment.
- Following food safety standards and working procedures.
- Collaborating with the team:
- Working alongside colleagues to ensure a constant flow of fresh products.
- Effective communication to meet the operational needs of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in baking is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work in shifts, including weekends.
- Willingness to learn and follow Spartan standards.
